Looking at all the new equipment out there. I have noticed the padded under shirts that are made of an under armour material. Just wondering what are other goalies thoughts on this option. I am not ready to let go of my Brian New Era CP. It has treated me nicely and not looking to sink more money into what is now only a hobby to me. Wondering if buying one is a wise investment, i have not been a fan of wearing a cotton tee and looking to upgrade to a breathable, whicking type under shirt. So wondering if I just get a cheap spandix type shirt, under armour, or go with one of the padded reebox, or shock Drs. (Since these would provide the under armour type shirt with some padding to help cushion some blows) or at least that is what i think.

Look foward to the comments.

I wonder how the padding will hold up to washing? Will special washing be a hassle for you? Will it change how the gear works while wearing it, ie. will it bind up your C/A when twisting or crouching?

I just wear a wicking shirt and pants under my gear and it works good enough for me.

Thanks.... I checked one out and it was not worth my money. Instead i picked up a under armour, with my rewards points at Dicks it only costed 14.00 not bad when it was priced at 50.00.

Now i am wondering where the best place to het sticks is, i like a 27 1/2" paddle and those are not easy to come by.

Total Hockey has a good selection of sticks. I know I saw 27" paddles, not sure if they have any with the extra 1/2" you're looking for though.
